Have a meeting on Saturday

My friend Jack is getting married this Saturday. Sad thing is I have to attend an important meeting this Saturday. Since I am the managing director of my company, I cannot take work for granted. Also I have promised my employees that I will take a seminar about motivation on Saturday. I am sad that I cannot attend my friend’s marriage but I have asked my wife and family to show their presence. My wife is happy to attend the wedding but she is sad about my meeting on Saturday. Only thing I could do is to buy a gift for my friend. I have ordered for a wall clock, pair of diamond rings and mobile phone for my friend. Hope he will be happy to receive my gifts. I could not inform my friend about my meeting but I will make sure to meet him next week. Also, I have planned to invite the couple for dinner next week.
