Its a bad news

Few days back I had an accident and my lower chest and ankle got hurt. I was worried about my health since I have been promoted as senior insurance agent in my company. But the thing is I could not start my work with broken ankle and injured chest. My manager is sad about my situation but he could not help me in my work. In few days of time I will get recovered and start my work .

Vision

The meaning of vision which concerns you as manager is a vivid idea of what the future should be. This has nothing to do with prediction but everything to do with hope. It is a focus for team’s activity. This provides sustained long term motivation and which unites your team. A vision has to be something sufficiently exciting to bind your team with you in common purpose. You need to decide where your team is heading and you have to communicate that vision to them

A sweet person

I have reached home soon and while traveling towards home I thought to play with my children for long time today. Once I have reached home, my wife was in a hurry to go to her grand parents home. I asked her whether I have to join her, she said it will be fine if I join her during the weekend. After getting into the car, she called me up and told that her grandma is sneezing all the time and want to get some solution for that. My wife is a person who gives lot of value to the family members and so I would like to leave home with her choice. She will get an air purifier at her grand parents house and asked me to check air purifier reviews so that she can come to a conclusion to get it or not. I hope that grand parents recover soon and join us for this weekend. I called them and asked them to visit my home as they would feel more comfortable here.

Sweet wife .....

As I already mentioned you my wife is with me for not spending quality time with my family as well as my kids. The reason is I am busy with my work and I could not spend time with her. My wife is possessive and she never understands my work, but I am lucky to get a sweet wife and I am sure and I will make her happy throughout my life.

Protector

The team needs security from the vagaries of less enlightened managers. In any company there are short-term excitements which can deflect the work force from the important issues. The manager should be there to guard against these and to protect the team. If a new project emerges which is to given to your team your responsible for costing it so that your team is not given an impossible deadline. If someone in your team brings forward a good plan you must ensure that it receives a fair hearing and that your team knows and understands the outcome. If someone in your team has a problem at work you have to deal with it to protect your team members.

Maternity garments

All the female colleagues were not there when I came to office. I asked my colleague about the ladies who were not present whether they have planned for a party and planned for leave at the same time. Then Samson who is my colleague told me that they all went to shop maternity clothes nearby. I was thinking how come everyone have gone for it, then he said there might any one person in their families are pregnant. I called them up and asked for the address of the shop so that my wife and her friends can buy clothes. She gave the contact address and said that there are offers going on right now. The clothes are so trendy that they can go to office comfortably and can enjoy different dresses at home, she added. They might be dedicated to bring their customers trendy maternity clothes at very low prices. Many of their clothes have wide range of products that one can choose and can avail the discount.

Could not avoid it

Since I am going to meet my girlfriend today I have planned to take off . My boss will be angry with me if I did not inform him about my leave. But the thing is if I call my manger through phone he will convince me and asks me to reach the office in 30 minutes. So I have planned to send him mail and inform him that I will not be working today. Since after a long time my girlfriend has asked me out I could not avoid the situation.

Planner

A manager has to take long term view indeed higher you rise the further you will have to look. While a team member will be working towards known and established goals the manager must look further ahead so that these goals are selected wisely. By think about eventual consequences of different plans, the manager selects the optimal plan for the team and implements it. By taking account of the need not only of the next project but the project after that, the manager ensures that work is not repeated nor problems tackled too late and that necessary resources are allocated and arrange.

I should reduce weight

Recently I have put on weight and my family doctor has advised me to shed some pounds for the safety of my future. My weight is slightly above my BMI level and it is not safe for me if I add some more weight . Due to work pressure and family issues I could not look after my health. I have planned to hit gym from tomorrow. Also, I have already started running in the morning from yesterday. The thing is I could not stop eating junk foods which I love the most. If I control eating junk foods I will shed weight easily.

If I get a partner I will hit gym tomorrow and start working out with him. Before stepping in to gym I should find a website which provides info about protein bar ,so that I could buy it and start in-taking it before I start my workouts. I have never tried protein bars in my life but I recently read article about the benefits of in-taking protein bars. Hope I will shed weight by the end of this year.

Not an easy job

People think that it is easy to be in a manager role and it the good way to increase the source of income to our family. The main thing is after getting promotion as a manager for a company there are few things we should be carefully about. Sometimes it is difficult for top level mangers to manage the low grade staffs and control the company. Managers should be confident about their work and they should learn to handle the pressure present in the company.

Manager

When you become manager you gain control over your own work not all of it, but some of it. You can change thinks. You can do things differently. You actually have the authority to make a huge impact upon the way in which your staff works. You can shape your own work environment. The major problem when you start to manage is that you did not actually think about management issues because you do not recognize them. Put simply thinks normally go wrong not because you are stupid only because you have never thought about it. Management is about pausing to ask yourself the right questions so that your common sense can provide the answers.

My aunt called me up and told me that she wants to get few jewellery for the marriage to present for her in laws. I called my uncle whether is he joining her for selection of jewellery. He laughed and told me that never join females while shopping. They would kill lot of time while selecting garments or anything as they want the best. My uncle wants to get wedding invites to be done in an awesome manner. He asked my aunt to take few invitations if she covers any area of our relatives while going out. Gave her a marker to write the names if she meets anyone. My cousin is so happy that his parents accepted for the marrying his love. He is very much lucky to get the parents who understands him all the time and I wish that his wife also should take care of him in the similar fashion. I have applied leave for few days to join our family for the marriage.

My sister came home last night with her kids and we started playing with her kid. When my sister was purchasing things for home she gave her credit card. After reaching home, her kid started crying for the credit cards to give in his hand. It was not possible to console her at as she was very much small. We feel not to hurt the kid as the kid doesn't know anything at this age. She showed her credit cards, and I asked her why did she apply for those many cards when one is or two is enough for a family. Then she told that many of the customer service guys were keep on calling her with many options and so she applied for it. But she doesn't uses all the credit cards that she have as don't want get confused of what cards she is using for her purposes. When any service people calls me, I never encourage them to call me again for application of new cards.

Good training is the key

It is not good to treat freshers in a mean way. I never treat my company freshers in a mean way. Sometimes due to work pressure I used to scream over them but I never treat them in a bad way. Some freshers are good in grasping the work from senior officials but some take time to learn the job. With the help of good training it is easy to team them in a good way. At present I do not have idea of teaching any freshers but in future I could not say no if I am assigned the job of teaching freshers.

My uncle is a marine engineer and he says that his time pass is only novels. After watching many movies I don't get that much interest on the novels but for my uncle he doesn't have anything how to run his time. It has been more than fifteen years he worked as a mariner and he went all through the world. He always says only book will be the ultimate one where we don't get bored of once after getting to know how to read novels. We used to keep a stock of novels after he arrives from abroad. As he finishes studying the novels, he will not ask us to return him back.

He called me up last week that he got Christian fiction suspense novels at a discounted price and that too he bought it from the company's account. He said that there are few novels with supernatural thriller set against the backdrop of a severely threatened and damaged detroit. It might give the reader a first class creative experience. We are waiting for my uncle's arrival and I wish he could reach home safely.

Relocate immediately

I am planning to relocate the existing job to a new place so that there will be a change in mind and can releive soon. But I changed my mind listening to my dad as he is very much concerned about me every time. I am so lucky to get a dad who cares for me all the time. I asked my wife that we can take decision later on and it is the matter of money which we have to consider. I have applied for senior post in the same company in other branch. If I get that, I would like to relocate immediately.

To be out of stress

This month my wife and I were facing lot of problems and we wanted to come out of it soon. My wife told me to be very cool, but I am not able to be as it is my responsibility to take care of my parents and my children. My wife says not to take decision in a hurry as it will lead to more tension while implementing it. I wish the problem will be resolved soon so that I can be releived from stress soon.

Get the best for eyes

One of the embarasing moment for my colleague was once his contact lens dropped off while washing his face in the toilet. It was time for him to present the seminar, but he was not able to attend to our room for long time due to lens. Then without the lens itself he tried to finish the presentation as was so much thinking about the lens. Many of them notified this easily while he was giving presentation by seeing his both of eyes which are not looking simiar. After the session, I asked my colleague to change the exisiting one and get the new to avoid future problems. It is not that easy to manage contact lens unless we are very sure that we can handle with care. Even if slight change, would take us to harm that will hurt our eyes. My boss after the session told to buy from any best company in order to maintain for long as they try to get the glasses done with the expert's advise. not well today

I have taken off today. Since I am not feeling well today I could not carry on with my work. Today I have to give seminars to few set of students and then visit a college near my area to give them awareness about the importance of insurance. Also, I have to inform my boss and senior manager about my company’s improvement this month. But I could not do any of this because of my health. I am tired and I have fever, I have informed my manager about my condition and asked him leave today.

TIME OPPORTUNITIES

Whenever I travel I take work with me. When am flying I do not angry. When there is an unexpected layover of an hour and a half. Instead I open up my briefcase and work. I never take a trip without taking a load of work with me more than I do if I had a dozen delays. I do not ever want to get caught empty handed. Whenever I travel around town I take work with me. My father taught me when I was a teenager to always keep a book in the glove compartment. That way even if I am stuck in traffic I will not wasted the time there. I also use my tape deck in my car all the time. I always have dozens of dozens of tapes with me that I listen to while I drive. I also have a phone and small tape recorder in the car with me. I can return calls while driving home. Be prepared and make the best use of unexpected delays.

feeling fresh

I could not sleep early today. Its almost 11.30 in the night but I am feeling fresh without any tension in my mind. From tomorrow I have planned to join gym and do yoga if time is sufficient. My brother works as a yoga teacher near my place, so it will not be a big task for me to find an experienced yoga teacher in my area. Also, I have decided to hit gym as I mentioned before. Since I am not working properly I have put on weight and my wife keeps on telling me that I look sluggish. I do not like people calling me with names. Hope I will join gym by the end of this week.

I will try to sleep now fellows. If possible try to give me tips about reducing weight in short period of time. The thing is I could not carry on with crash dieting and stuffs. Also, I hate to eat low calorie food.

GOALS

When you set goals for yourself, they work in two ways. You work on them and they work on you. They give you tangibles to shoot for. As you work on them and accomplish them. You gain a scene of accomplishment. For many people setting goals and then attempting to reach them can become like a game. As times goes by and you continue to reach goals how you work and things begins to change. Making goals specific and reachable is very important. When you have a goal that is not specific that is immeasurable it actually reduces motivation. Because reaching the goals is what gives a boost. If you cannot measure your progress in relation to your goals, you will become depressed and give up.

I could not succeed

Whenever I plan to start something I could not precede it properly. I do not know the reason for the continuous failure but I have decided not to step too further in any work. I could not give the seminar

As you all know I have planned to give a seminar about insurance to my students. The sad thing is I could not give the seminar during the scheduled date due to family issues. I have worked hard for the seminar but I could not share it with my students on Sunday. My students will understand my situation and I am sure that they will assemble in the conference hall this weekend. A week will not make a big change and my students will grasp everything I share with them.

EYE CONTACT

Everyone knows that eye contact is of paramount importance in all face –to-face communication, when we look at somebody’s face we focus primarily on his eyes and try to understand what he means. The eye along with eyebrows and the size of pupils convey our innermost feelings. Eyebrows and eyelids raised and combined with dilated pupils tell us that the person is excited. On the other hand eyebrows with upper and lower eye yields closed and combined with constricted pupils tell us that the person is angry or in the pain. These are the most eye patterns.

Preparing for the seminar

For past few days I have been busy with my home remodeling work, so I could not train the students properly. The thing I was preparing for a three hour seminar which I have planned to present in front of my students this weekend. To be more specific, I have planned to present a three hour seminar for my students coming Sunday. The seminar will be about life insurance, medical insurance, automobile insurance , benefits of insurance and other stuffs.

Talking style

Talking style refers to how the three parts of voice quality pitch, speed and volume blend it together. But it also means more. It means how well talkers project their personalities through their oral expression. As such style refers to a set of behaviors of an individual that give uniqueness to that person. When we refers to a talkers as one who has smooth style, we usually mean one whose pitch volume and speed are consistent with certain attitudes we infer-attitudes such as sincerity and courtesy. When these attitudes produce certain behaviors and blend with voice quality, we can say that a talker has a style.

I am fine

I mentioned you all about my fever few days back. The thing is I am alright now and doctor has informed me to continue with my normal work. I was afraid whether I was affected by typhoid fever but blood results have confirmed that I was affected by normal viral fever. So, I need not worry about my work and I could carry on with my work from Monday.

Also, I would like to inform you that I will be getting married this year. I am really happy to announce you all about my marriage.

APPEARANCE

Although we have been warned since a childhood not to judge a book by its cover appearance plays a tremendous role in determining how a communicator’s messages will be received in business. As a rule people who look attractive are considered to be likable and persuasive, and they have generally have successful careers.

Do not mistake me

Since I am not feeling well I could not carry on with my work. Also, I have informed my manager that I will not come for work this week. I have not received any reply from my manager or the company I am working for. Hope my manager will understand my situation and grant me a week leave, so that I could recover from my viral fever and start my work on Monday.
